There's a gap in between. There's a gap where we meet. Where i end and you begin.

It's Not That I'm Afraid To Die. I Just Don't Want To Be There When It Happens

"the tree is cool"

"beautiful picture"

"colours are great"

I feel this is an insult to artistry, because a good artist DESERVES criticism for his work. Simple feedback is not a way to give real impression, as almost everything amazes everyone here on DA.

Here's what I like:

-You picked a good lighting
-The blue/pink contrast is well used here.

Here's what I don't like:

-Composition: You should have taken the entire tree or a smaller part of it, as in a more up-close shot.

-TOURISTS. NEVER TAKE PICTURES WHEN THERE ARE PEOPLE BLOCKING YOUR SUBJECT. This makes your shot close to a tourist shot by having let this kind of information come out. Tourist shots are worthless. That's what good photographers try to avoid.

-Street lamp. It ruins your second shot (and so does the other photographer. You could have waited for him to go. Patience is photographers' third best tool besides artistic research and technique.)

-Cars and angle: If the angle you shoot at introduces unwanted elements, DON'T SHOOT. On film, it's a waste of film, which is far worse than on numeric, where it will only be a waste of 1/3000th of your battery life.

My advice:

Value each shot. Take your time. Always check if the following are right: Composition, Lighting, Subject and Environment.

If you want to become a really good photographer, it's not that hard. Just remember: Composition, Lighting, Subject and Environment. For more info, just ask me, I'd be glad to give you more advice :)

Yeah, I know what you mean. The issue was that I was on tight schedule to live in about 10 minutes.

I waited 5, but the damn people wouldn't budge at all. Every time a person saw me, and gave space for me to get a decent shot, another one came in to fill the gap.

Oh well, learn from my mistakes and learn other people's advice.

Thanks again =D
